I have seen a few on ebay. The problem is how do you know if they will work with a Jeep. They range in price from $15 - $300? Anybody shed some light on the subject?

I've got an Astro Start on my KJ (automatic trans) and it works great. I'm not sure about other brands. I'd have to wonder how good a $15 remote start is though.

Is this the same as yours?

If you don't mind how much did you pay?

Mine is an AST2106XR. I paid $400 installed back in July '04.
