Who has Lowest Prices (w/S-H) on 245/70-16 Dunlop Revos ??

I thought Bridgestone made revos??? The dueller's??? no? anyhow, tirerack is a start.

you still pay $20+ for shipping on tires from the rack, and your local tire shop will probably charge you $15/ea for mounting and balancing of the new tires. some won't mount outside purchase tires, either, for liability reasons, or return/warranty reasons. it's just a PITA to have the tire DISMOUNTED (you pay for that too), returned to Tire Rack(also probably your dime), inspected, sent back to you... if you have a Firestone service center near you, that would be the best price you'll ever find on Revos, mounted/balanced. shouldn't run you more than $550 for 235/70-16s

bottom line...with tires, don't buy them from the people that aren't installing them, and ALWAYS buy the road hazard.

I bought (2) sets of REVOs previously from this local place called Expert Tire (and affiliate of Firestone).

Went there yesterday and asked what their special was on 245/70-16s REVOs.

I got a written estimate for $917.56 !!! The counter clown actually had on a STRAIGHT face!

Here's the itemized shake down. I mean break down!

4-24570-16s...$142.99ea........$571.96
4-Balance...................................8.00
4-Install Labor...........................33.96
4-Valve Stems.............................8.00
4-Road Hazard...$21.45ea..........85.80

and to GET this SPECIAL PRICE, the counter clown wanted me to buy a Lifetime Alignment Package for an additional $149.00 !!!!

OUCH!!!!!! my FIVE killer ATs cost me $515 mounted balanced, roadside hazard, and free rotations for the life of the tire...60K miles.

I got the Dueler A/T Revos and they slammed me with that labor charge without even telling me. It all looked fine and dandy in the mid 600s until when I went to pick it up they slammed me with a labor charge and tossed on 85.00 for warranty. I told them to drop the crap and just do it for what they quoted me. Which they did. Of course with all the other work I got done it still cost me a limb

Shoulda shopped around. $178 for labor to install tires is ridiculous...and the Uniroyal Liberators are junk. Enjoy them.

Wally World carries Revos too, but they're getting out of the tire business...and their road hazard program sucks donkey genitals.

Sears is also good. I'm not sure how their road hazard policy is. Tire Kingdom/Merchants/NTB has arguably the best prices, service, and road hazard, so if you've got a store by you, go with them. in your area it'll be NTB
