J.C. Whitney is tempting me with the Sunpro Triple Gaugecage in the link below: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Prod ... gauge+pods

Has anyone tried this to see if it fits? I would hate to buy it and find that I need to chop one of the mounting holes off to fit the pillar.

Steve

You have a pretty bad blind spot with a double gauge pod. If that's a triple, it's going to be huge. You can also buy the double pod for the Liberty here.

not only that, but you also loose your one and only "oh my god" bar.

X2^

I'm replacing mine with the oh $%## handle. Just haven't finished pulling all the old N2O stuff. Now that it's lifted, it would really help with getting in and out. Plus, the blind spot is just too big. Very difficult to see while turning left.

Yea, I wouldnt want to loose my ohh poo handle. I use it getting in and out and also while driving. I may be alittle more spirited than most drivers though.

Dude..... A universal fit? Come on!

Quote:
Paintable black plastic housing may require some trimming or heat-forming over the pillar post (use hair drier) to achieve the perfect fit.

I have the lotech and like it. I never use the grab bar so no loss for me. I have no issues with the blind spot either. Dont know maybe i'm just used to it. I had 3 other cars with a pillar pods. Personal preference i guess. I wanted a couple gauges that the dash was lacking. If you're gonna get one get the lotech since it's molded for the kj not a jc whitney pos that'll make it look ghetto.

I needed the gauges when it was setup as a sport truck. Way too dangerous to run a big shot of N2O without knowing your pressures. I just don't need it now, and the handle would be nice. If you want one, or need one, get the Lotech. Here's an example from the website I bought mine from.
