I fully understand why you feel like you do hyedipin. I felt the same way when certain things happened to my Jeep but I get over them.

It hurts that a dealer would try to charge that much for a radiator.

There is nothing else you can really do other than take it to an independent shop like youve done(Or move closer to me :P). They will always give you a better price on something like that.

Where does one get an aluminum radiator for the kj or did you have it made? I got 98k on my original radiator which is bound to start leaking sooner or later.

The mechanic that does my transmission and differential work found it for me. Said it was a tight fit, but it works great. Unfortunately, it's the one upgrade on my Jeep that I don't know the model of.

Wen I went back there, my jeep was just there, without front grill, and without radiator, just looking at me all sad.

There has got to be some nice LOST members willing to help ya, in your area. Buy it in their area for a "normal" price and then drive to you or you go there and help you install it....for cost of parts and a small charge (beverage, munchies, or tour of city).

They couldn't get my jeep ready today, I made a big deal, they gave me a free rental over the weekend..
I was so mad at them. They gave me a crappy PT Cruiser.

Why be mad? I love checking the ground clearance, water fording abilities, and top end speeds of vehicles I don't own.

Note to self: Do not lend your vehicle to Sir Sam.
