Valvoline Premium Blue 5w40

While killing time in NAPA today (waiting for tires to be installed next door), I came across gallon jugs of this:

For $13.50 a gallon, or thereabouts. Label said Cummins-approved, meets API 4 spec. Possible alternative to Shell Rotella when it comes to an affordable oil? Anyone have experience with it?

I used it once. No problems. It was more expensive than the Rotella at wally world, so I went back to the Rotella. It is nice to get something at napa instead of going to Walmart just for oil, however.

It may have been stuck on the wrong shelf... it stood out to me because it is the first time I've ever seen 5w40 at this NAPA.
