I got it and plan on using it later this week when my Liberty is delivered. A nice $550 Nikon D40 D-SLR camera bonus incentive that was mailed to me in addition to the $2000 in rebates I am getting. Sweet!

How come I didn't get that offer? The way I understand it is that if you requested information from the Jeep web site, then bought the Liberty, you got the free Nikon camera.

I guess all you have to do is to put in the promo code that you were sent and your VIN number to receive the camera. Would someone puleeze give me the promo code, so I can enter my VIN number and have them send me one of those cameras. I've been drooling over those things forever now.

When I was at the Jeep web site before buying my Liberty, and even now, if I request a brochure, I get an error. I'm using Internet Explorer 7, not sure if that is the problem or not. I asked their customer service about it, but they were no help

Someone please post a promo code

Thanks!

Rickm - Someone can't give you their number - it has to be from the household of the person it was issued to.

Oh well... I tried calling Jeep since I ordered mine on 11/21 and they told me since I wasn't mailed a TDM (some kind of mailing list) that I didn't qualify for the D40. I have the D200 but was trying to get the D40 for my sis who wants a DSLR.

For the nikon users: Any of you guys/gals use the 18-200 lens? I'm thinking about buying it but don't know if it's worth the $750.

John

its a good lens. i dont have it personally but i have had it on my d40, it works great. its great for wide angles. its one of those lenses that i would rarely use so for me its a waste of money.

I have the offer card, but 'may' not be able to use it.

I think were going to end up keeping our 05 Lib after all and not buying a new 08. :?

$2000 Rebates ?? Please explain!!

I see $1000 Factory Rebate + $500 Customer Loyalty Rebate = $1500.

There is an additional $1000 Lease Incentive Rebate as well.

So...$1500 if one Finances OR $2500 if one Leases.

THEN, there is this nice little bonus coupon for the $550 Digital SLR Nicon!!

I thought the new incentives were $1500 factory rebate + $500 cash back. Also if your military or ex, then you get an additional $500.

Remember, incentives that include rebates, bonus cash and/or low financing vary depending on location. Here are the ones in my location in western NY.

Image
What is great is that not only did I get $2000 in rebates/bonus cash and the Nikon D40, but I also asked for an even lower financing rate of 5.75% for 5 years through Chrysler Financial and got it! It helps to have an excellent credit rating! If I were a veteran, I would have received an additional $500 from Jeep.

Go here and type in your zip code to see the rebates that you qualify for in your region http://www-5.jeep.com/incentives/

Forget Edmunds for rebates info, many times they aren't current! Go to the Jeep website at the links that I have provided for the latest up to date info.

they gave me so much money off of my kj it wasnt even funny, 6 grand all together. and the military rebate, im active duty USAF katmandu, they were like "we'll go ahead and give you $1k since the 08's will b here in 1.5-2 months... how does 4.9% APR sound?". it was christmas... in june!

these rebates on the kk are hard to pass up, especially in my eyes because they really did improve on the outgoing model a significant amount!

According to the Jeep website there is a $1500 Cash Allowance or you can take the low APR's + $500 Bonus Cash of which they do not specify it is military discount. So $2000 off MSRP plus they are the ones who offered me $500 more off because of military.

I ordered my KK in November which was before this incentive. All they were offering at the time was $1000 off MSRP + $500 military discount and I don't get my KK for 8 wks. Kinda got screwed but I got exactly what I wanted as well. Still got it below Invoice for a SUV that isn't even on my local dealership's lot...well at least the one I wanted!
