We haven't had a lot of snow. More slush than anything else. We have about 5 inches from the last week. Anyway here in Sioux City, it's more hills (in town) than anything else. My car before my KJ was Grand Am with traction control. It did ok in snow. There would be some hills were you spin and spin and barely go anywhere being passed by guys in 4x4's.

Now I am the guy feeling bad for the people as I go by with no problems going up icy/snowy hills. The cool thing is my grabbers 'grab' so well that I haven't even needed to put it in 4 yet. The one downside is it's harder to spin cookies in empty lots because they do 'grab' so well.

the grabbers and bfg both look very simular but the biggest complaint i hear about the general grabbers is that the treat life is not so hot.

i just been lookin a different tires because hopefully this summer im getting a lift and choosing whether or not to stick with my geolander or get another tire. And thr bfg and general grabber at's both get good reviews except people complained of the tread life on the general grabbers but loved the tread life in the bfg tires

The Grabber AT2's are great tires. I think General makes another tire with the same name that has gotten pretty bad reviews. I've got about 19,000 miles on mine and I'd say they're easily good for 60K. Great traction for Western NY winters.

General grabber AT2 from tire rack

I cannot believe that at around 20,000 miles the tires are as wore as they are I thought I was getting a better tire than this from what I had heard I thought I was buying a better quality product which would give me better wear for the price.

you get what you pay for, these go out of balance constantly and are formed so bad that they CAN NOT be balanced within any type of comfort zone. Tread is also eating away very quickly considering the fact that these come with 640 tread I have almost eaten through all of it with just highway driving you will only get about 25 - 30 thousand miles max. Spend the extra money and buy a quality tire that will last and stay balanced and smooth. These also cause massive MPG decrease due to being unbalanced constantly. If you have a beater work truck though these would be great, just not for quality ride.

1497 miles on these tires and three trips to the dealer for balancing. Last trip was for a road force balance and the tires are so far out that they cannot be balanced. Very disatified.

have had these tires for just over a year, aprox. 25000miles, (that is a generous estimate)and they are bald. I have had them rotated 4 times since purchase, air pressure was a constant 35psi. I bought the tires for the treadwear warranty, cant be honored because treadwear was under the 2/32 range. The only plus with these tires was that the tirerack gave me a discount with my purchase, I will do business again

If they were this bad, I don't think they'd sell well. Look at an item on Amazon and you'll find one nay sayer that had all sorts of problems with a praticular item.

i love my grabbers at2's, ill definitely get them again. i have at least 6k miles on them and not one complaint about them. rotated them around 3k cuz they started to wear a little funny in the front but within a couple days of driving, the tread was back to normal. thought i needed an alignment but the dealer said it was all in spec

My Grabbers have worn very well with almost 19,000 miles of 99 percent on-road driving on them. I rotate them every 5,000-6,000 miles and keep the tire pressure at 32 psi. The ride and traction is much better at 30 psi.

At 32 psi, I can still get them to break loose on wet pavement, but traction is much better than the stock Goodyear tires I used to have. Traveling on them was downright scary. For about $110/tire, the Grabbers are a great deal, and I'm totally satisfied. Still waiting to get that full-size spare.

I have the BFG AT\KO's and LOVE THEM.
I have about 70K + on them and still have plenty of tread life left on them. I maintain 40PSI summer and 35PSI winter.
