I'm not too concerned about being a guinea pig. I know a lot of R&R has gone into this kit, it uses quality parts, & it's pretty cool being one of the firsts! :D

A lot of rest and relaxation (R&R) has gone into this lift kit? That sounds a little problematic!

Ahh, right... make that R&D... 8)

I'm going to have to stop posting after 9pm, apparently I lose a bit of accuracy after that...

WAHOO! Box #1 just arrived! :D

Not enough to get started, but enough to make me start drooling. Looks like boxes 2,3, & 4 won't be here until the 13th.

As much as I love the info & support on this site, the method of posting photos here sucks tail! With that in mind, I was going to wait until the other boxes get here. All I got today was the rear shocks, what appear to be rear bump stops, a pack of bushings for the front struts, & some extra ball joint dust caps I ordered. Not terribly photogenic...

First you must host the picture on a website such as Photobucket or ImageShack. Then all you do is put the picture link between the [img]and[/img] tags and you're set. Can it get any easier than that?

For example:
Code:
[img]http://www.jeep.com/shared/2008/home/jeep_home_sandbox.jpg[/img]

I know how to do it. It's just a pain in the rear!

I'm not a webmaster, so I don't know all the ins & outs, but yes, It can be easier. Other sites that I participate in have the ability to load several photos right on their board. There is a button under the text box that says "add image", you click it, a pop up of your clip board comes up with the images you previously up loaded or you can add photos to it right then & there, It also sizes it automatically if you choose. Compared to that, this set up is bass-aackwards! :?

I will add photos when more stuff comes, I swear! :)

Those sites that allow you to load pictures on to the board as attachments also require more storage space. More storage space requires more $$$ so that's the main reason behind it. I prefer photobucket since it already provides the image code. However it does require you to resize the photos to a web-friendly 800x600 (can be a PITA if you have 100+ photos and poor photo software. IMO Adobe Lightroom works best for this.)

Now back to topic, I can't wait to see this thing on your KJ and in action. Take alot of pictures and if you want help posting or anything let me know.

When you do start posting photos of the parts and install, you might want to start a new thread or this one will be waaaay too long.

That was my plan. I was going to post the photos of the stuff, go to work, then start a new thread with the install & results.

Thanks for the offer. I have Photoshop Elements, I'll be able to to it. I've used Image Shack, & it works, but I'm not terribly impressed. I'll give Photo Bucket a go this time.

I like photobucket. It's mass file loader lets you upload up to 100 files. It also displays your file tree like windows explorer and high-lites the files you've selected orange.

I've never used Elements. Light room shows everything in the library as a slide (kind of like old slide film). With it I can select every photo in the library and by exporting them I can select file type, image size, quality and export destination. Pretty cool for $100 but not as good at editing small stuff like photoshop. Kind of works like film processing, ability to make exposure adjustments etc.

I guess there is another box coming soon with the front springs & some bushings. I also ordered the JE Reel Axles, they should be here soon.

I should also point out that the sway bar disconnects are not part of the lift kit, they are an option.
