Hello,

I've seen a few people talk about minor modifications that need to be done to fit 55w bulbs to the foglights.... Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I have to do?

Thanks,
Bill

I knew I had read this somewhere, but couldn't find it anywhere on this site. Looked in my bookmarks, and there it is! The jist of it is that you'll have to file off a small portion of the plastic plug. The link gives a pretty good write up and a bunch of pics. I've been thinking of doing this myself.

I'm not sure. You'd have to find out which bulb the 05's take and then go from there. But according to http://www.eautoworks.com/html/bulbSear ... iberty.htm it looks like it may be the same bulb. If it is, it should be the same mod procedure.

Thanks a lot nlife, I really appreciate it. I just ordered some 9011 HIRs for this project, hopefully it goes well!

Just did this mod to my libby. Pretty easy with the exception of the fiddly fog light door flap. What a PITA! Gonna try the lights out tonight
