The 4" lift is almost $2300.

Install fee? That is between us.

For the amount of money your putting into it. I cant wait to see the pics.

Just curious if you guys could help me out. I want to lift my KJ. But after reading all of your posts you guys seem to know a lot about lifts. I on the other hand dont. I know from what I have read. Spacer lifts are garbage and Spring lifts are the way to go. I went to Les Schwab over here in Cali to look for lifts. They gave me 2, 2" spacer lifts. One was Tuff Country and the other was RevTec. Not what I want. I saw the Rustys 2.5" and Frankenlift 2.5" and thought about buying those. Are both these kits complete? Or do I need to buy rear shocks or anything else to complete the kit? Then who to install them? Price to install them(est)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yes Rusty's coils lift and frankenlift are both complete, my opinion for the best way is to buy it all seperate anf do an OME lift which is pretty much a frankenlift, as for install if you can do it your self do it itll save you alot of money

Seems some people are getting 3" from the OME HD lift alone. If that's the case, why would anyone do the Frankenlift anymore? FL is just a standard OME lift + spacers, if you can get the same amount of lift from an all spring OME HD for less money, why would anyone get the Frankenlift anymore?:?

Maybe I'm missing something?

Because the FL comes with front and rear bumpstops, 132L rear shocks are optional, and preesmbled fronts. With out the bumpstops you will damage your driveline components.

So buy some bump stops! And get the OME HD through All J's so you can get the132L... Still cheaper than the FL, just as much lift, all spring, no spacer... I just see no reason for the Frankenlift anymore.

I of course mean when it comes to new purchases, It was the tops for a long time, but it appears it is now outdated for future installs.

Note: I edited this post slightly to better express my intent of the post. I don't mean to say that the Frankie is now inferior, it obviously is a quality kit that people have been using happily & reliably for years. I'm just saying that If the OME HD can get you the same height as the FL, & with at least the same quality, for less money, I think it makes the FL a less desirable option for someone looking to buy a new lift. If you already have one it's still great, but if you are buying a new lift today or in the future, it looks to me like the Frankenlift is no longer the best option.

Boxes 2, 3:

I guess there is another box coming soon with the front springs & some bushings. I also ordered the JE Reel Axles, they should be here soon.

I should also point out that the sway bar disconnects are not part of the lift kit, they are an option.

So do you plan on cutting the JE Axles?

On Al's website they are offering the axles already cut for you and I'm betting that's what KJpilot got.

I just got home from my 5-year-old son's basket ball game & there are more boxes on my porch. :D I have a part-time job as a Domino's driver, & I work tomorrow night, so I need the KJ intact for that. Depending on what's in these boxes, I should be able to start tearing things apart at 9pm CST tomarrow night! 8)

GAH!Only one box was for me, & it was only the front springs. :( I'm still missing my axles & some bushings before I can begin. Unless there will be a late delivery today, I'm out of luck until mid day Monday.
