Quick tire genius

Futura Enforcer MT 265-75/16 I can get a good deal on these, not sure if they'll fit though. They have about 3-5k on them They are same off brand as mastercraft (they make the grabbers) I had the original grabbers for my nissan and wasnt happy, but i beat them up bad and never rotated. Let me know what you think of the fitting issues, I'm running a Frankenlift HD front and rear. Pinch weld pounded.

Those tires will definately fit.
I had that size on my Lib even before the lift and had minimal rubbing at full lock.

How in the heck did you fit 265 75 16 on a non lifted lib?

Yea, I'd like to see pics of that! I had minor rubbing issues with 245/75's with a lift

265/75R16 will def NOT fit. Even lifted you'll regret going with a tire that big unless you want to cut all kinds of stuff out from under your jeep.

yep, no way that a 265/75/r16 will fit on a non lifted libby.
i wanna see pics of that.

i ran this size on firestone dest a/t and they were huge.

They will fit, depending on your rims you may have to pick up spacers. A LARGE AMOUNT OF TRIMMING IS REQUIRED THOUGH! I have pics posted in the pics of your rigs forum if you want to see what that size will look like.

I'll stick with 245's for the KJ probably still going to pick these up since I'm buying a CJ by spring.

i wanted to see them on your kj BEFORE it was lifted.
i know they'll fit on a lifted kj.

That was KJKEV that said they would fit on a UNlifted KJ, not me. I just said they will fit on AbsoluteRenegades. he's running the same lift as I am.

I can't see it happening and being drivable at all. someone posted up pics not that long ago of 245/75 MT/r's on Moabs that they threw on their KJ just to see what they looked like prior to their llift. there was hardly any room in the wheel wells, rubbed everywhere. going up @ 1.5" overthat... nah. I had to cut everything to squeeze my 265's with the Franenlift.

i did the same. serious operation on the fenders to accomodate the 265's.
i have the arb up front so i just went ahead and removed the entire fender liner up front and that made all the difference.

the rear wasnt bad as i didnt wheel with those tires.
if i would have they probably would have ripped out the rear liners.

Are you guys worried about the added weight of those tires, especially in relation to the D30A? A lot of tires of that that size have a heavy load rating, too, which equals more weight. I know the 285/75/r16's ( I know, a different size) on my '79 are very heavy: 122# each with steel wheels. IIRC the are about 55# heaveier (ea.) than the stockers.

Depends on the type of tire. When I went to the 265/75 on AR ATX's fro Moab with 245/75's I saved somewhere around 7-8#'s a tire. The Mtr's were 10 ply, the 265's are only 6 ply.

My Trxus M/T's are 10-ply E rated. I think many people do not think of these things beforehand. It may not matter, but it might be something to consider.
