only gift I got for the KJ was a set of those "hangdowns" you see under some redneck trucks  Wife thought she was being funny so now I need to hang them on her KJ when she isn't looking.

I also got ENGAGED....and my now fiance/girlfriend says I spend "all darn day" on this site  It must be a JEEP thing !

LOL - whenever the girlfriend calls me she asks me what I'm up to, and it's nearly always reading or writing on this forum. Most of the time she doesn't mind, but when the food gets cold while she is waiting she gently asks me multiple times to COME AND GET FOOD! :D

Lucky for her she doesn't know of my plans to lift the jeep, she nearly had a heartattack when I bought it because she thought it was an expensive car :D

My powertrax broke and screwed up my axel.   The repair place I took it to said it was the worst they have seen. So they are salvaging an axel from a wrecked libby and rebuilinding it for me.

So I got my axel replaced for Christmas. Actually, still waiting for it. However, It is going to have a Detroit Locker installed. :D :D :D

I picked up a nice little air compressor for the KJ from Harbor Freight for $50.00 using the money I got for Christmas. Yeah I can get better, but for how often I will use it it's more than good enough and a heck of a lot better than any of the silly little tire inflator compressors you can get. It can run 40 minutes before it needs to cool and then it only needs to cool for 20 minutes. It puts out 1.35 CFM at 40 PSI and 1.05 at 90PSI.

I'm going to look at getting parts to make crossbars for the KJ as well. I'm taking a trip to Lowes for that tonight.
