I see guys on here often getting parts from junkers. SirSam does it for sure. How do I find junkers so I can get parts? Is there a way to do it online?

I used Yellow & White pages online to find local junkyards. I then Searched for websites for those junkyards. Some actually have sites, allowing you to search their inventory and purchase parts. I did notice online if you were searching for a part that is necessary for a larger piece, you'd have to buy the whole piece. Ie; ring gear / differential. Your buying the differential.
Some places are strictly the U-pull it junkyard.
Hope this gets you started.

I got my front diff from a "salvage yard". I did it online, but it was my first time and I was flying pretty blindly. I just searched on google for "auto salvage" etc. and came up with a couple of sites where you could choose a part that you needed from a drop down menu and choose your vehicle and that site forwarded your request to tons of salvage yards all over the place. Then they all started emailing me with offers. One of them happened to be close to me and have a good price.

Like I said, I was totally flying blind. I would start by checking your local places because you're probably not going to want to have anything shipped very far anyway, and you'll want to check out the condition before purchasing. So, check out google local or yellow pages or something and start making calls!

Sorry, I dont have a link to that site I found, but just do some clicking and you'll probably find it.

Depends on what you need but just call the local "yard" and they have searches or feelers they put out and can find you anything. I called a place local here the other day for 4.10 front diff, 10 minutes later the guy located 2 of them
