I at least I have her attention with my bringing up the subject of a NEW vehicle!

That alone is a miracle!

She has an 05 Rocky Mountain Edition with only 19,xxx miles on it right now!

I stopped by the dealer this evening and checked out an 08 Lib! I was NOT expecting and real major improvements over her 05. Man! Was I WRONG!!

I'm TOTALLY IMPRESSED with the new 08s!! I was VERY surprised to say the least! It is SO MUCH more comfortable (in every aspect) over my wife's 05!

The interior is ALOT roomier, the seats are actually COMFORTABLE. NOT like sitting on hard bar stools like in her 05! The ride/handling are DRASTICALLY better! No more hard ride over bumps and cracks in the road. And it handles more "car-like" than a truck.

I'm taking her over to the dealer tomorrow AM to show her the 08s!

Here's the dealer incentives as I know them right now.

- $1000 Off for Customer loyalty
- $1000 Off for Lease loyalty

+ I received a pamphlet in the mail a couple days ago where Jeep is offering a new SLR Digital Camera with a new purchase! The camera is supposed to be worth $550 !! This offer is good until 1/15/08.

You folks now of anymore incentives or offers right now ??

Are anyone of you my long lost cousin that works for Chysler/Jeep/Dodge ?? (ie Employee Discount!! ) 8)

show your wife the cargo area, there's a LOT more room there also, vs the KJ. I also think there is a lot more room in the rear seats vs the KJ, but my daughter pointed out there's more leg and knee room, but less foot room under the front seats.

Since the KK is so new, I doubt there will be any other incentives until at least January.

You might also point out to your wife that there are a LOT of items that come standard on the KK that were options on the KJ.

The to clinch the deal, let her take it for a test drive

Well, I "think" I finally have her talked into buying one!

She test drove one and fell in love with it!

We're going to the dealer in a few hours and seeing if we can work out the figures. :?

About the dumbest thing I ever did...one day I BOUGHT a KJ without asking the wife. I simple signed the papers and brought the thing home. The KJ ended up costing me 19,000 bucks and one testicle

my mom was almost thinking of getting the kk but decided against it because her car she bought new in 02 has so few miles on it she didnt want to take the big hit in money on it. So far i have only seen 3. Maybe down to 2 now because there was one in a ditch yesterday during the wind storm, some young teenager, probably being very dumb in the bad weather :(

Congratulations! See if the dealer will let her drive it for couple of hours one day, some will, I bought my Limited TR in Nov. 07, I already have 6500 miles on it, I recently drove to whitface mountain, a 1600 mile round trip, the seats are very comfortable compared to my '03 liberty I used to own. Keep the dream alive, I strongly recommend you go for the MY Gig system with the Infinity sound system, sounds awesome for any music and free sirius for 1 year, and a personal jukebox you can create from your music as well.
