A few days latter he called me back to say he had a Liberty that I might be interested in, he said he could give me a good price as they were having trouble selling it due to it being an unusual colour. I asked if it was white, the GM reassured me it was not and I told him I would take it… The GM insisted that I come down the following day after work to check out the unusual colour as the Jeep had been on the lot a long time and nobody was interested in it once they saw the Cactus Green colour.

I must say that the colour did not fuss me either way when I bought it but has grown on me a lot over the last few years and I have become quite attached to it. I have seen only one other sport model during my travels in Ontario and up state NY, ironically the other Cactus Green Liberty is owned by a gentleman in my neighborhood, it is a sport also but very basic.

Thanks for the welcome, plans for the not to distant future will be skid plates and front tow hooks most likely. Also want to get the plastic trim back on the inside of the swing gate as I had to replace the rear wiper motor recently and it was way too cold up here in Ontario to be doing anything more than required... Latter in the year I could be tempted with a lift.

Most ppl buy these off the lot I guess... I ordered my KJ to include Selectrac and the color was at my option. Dealers just order the 'popular' colors I guess for inventory.
