When was the last time you showed your kj some love and washed her up? Been over a month since the last time i washed mine, sooooo much rain in bc. she is really getting filthy. finally in the next few days they are calling for some sun and i am going to wash it all up and break out the new digi cam and get some photos and some flex shots. My kj has been very good to me ever since i bought it with no mechanical problems, and it got me through the winter even in some bad weather conditions, i think it deserves a good clean up

Since my winter has been around being on the oil rig the jeep has rolled into the crummy truck hahaha. All the alberta sand and salt killed a serp belt (to loud for me). I will admit she has gotten me through a road closer in Golden and all the ice and snow out in alberta and I have never had to worry about roads, so good in the snow it isn't fair. All in all as soon as I got back home to Hope on my week off she hit the car wash and vac to clean her up. She deserves it with all the crap I ran her through this days.

I had to wash mine last week. Lots of mud from out New Years Day run. But I left it on for a couple of weeks. Kinda like a trail rated badge...LOL.

I couldn't tell you the last time she was washed & pampered. We've had sooo much rain, winter slop... when the weather was right, I just couldn't make the time. Tough with a wife in school, a daughter into martial arts & gymnastics, me working 50+ hrs. per week. But, she's a Jeep, she'll tough it out and be just fine! :D

i usually pump about 8 bucks into a truck and trailer wash to clean it up. 1800psi always does the trick for all the mud.

well thanks to good 'ol global warming it was about 70deg here in NJ on Monday..so since I have a great boss 'n all, (I'm my own boss  ) ..I took half the day off to wash my Reny (it just makes me just cringe when i see those acid rain drip-lines form and stay there for too long on that rear window & panel, ya know?) Anyway she looked like a shiney black diamond for about 4 days (see my new avatar pic) ..until it rained yesterday.

i try to wash mine as much as i can but since there isnt much snow where i live and they dont salt the roads unless it does i just havent wanted to get out in the cold that often. i wheel my jeep about ever weekend so it gets hard to keep all the mud and dirt off. i normaly just give it a quick spray down and forgett it.. it is a JEEP

Mine at least once every week if not more in the winter at the quarter wash place hate them but nothing else you can do when its cold, and then straight home to the garage. Every 3 or 4 weeks I crank up the heat in the garage and do a total clean under / over / inside / all windows, did it yesterday afternoon as a matter of fact!

i have the touchless car wash that does the underside, do you think that would be a good investment to do once week?

man it's been a pretty long time since I've given the Lib the once-over. She's got several months of winter slop, combined with "new subdivision" super mud everywhere, including inside! I'm seriously considering pulling the seats so that I can just yank out the carpet attack the caked on clay mud with a power washer. Next will be pullin all the skid plates off and hitting the local car wash that has the under-body sprayers. Heck I haven't even put the new decals I got on yet. I hear they don't stick to mud too good! ;)

have never bothered for the touchless car washes. I usually leave the bike rack and antenna on - never had any problems.

Never had a problem, after all, it is just water. Nothing that physically touches the JEEP.
