My friend in Wyoming would probably call that decorating style "late 20th century greenback".
He tends to get a little peeved at the attitudes of some of the transplanted Denverites that have moved into his area of Wyoming to cash in on the natural gas boom that's going on (Rock Springs).
I can somewhat understand how he feels. I've lost count of the number of times that, here in my area of NC, I've gotten behind a transplant that's still running with expired NY/PA/OH/etc plates because they're too bloody cheap to pay for registering their car in NC and avoid paying state and county property tax on them.

HA, to take the topic further off topic........
Ya there is alot of natural gas exploration going on around here, its wierd even 5 years ago it was just dead like that.
Lots of it along the western slope, woman I know ended up getting a small stake in some mineral rights from her families property, she managed the estate for the family and managed to hold onto the mineral rights herself.
Now she is getting something like a $8,000 check from the natural gas they let out outta the ground there.
My father used to be an oil man back in texas in the '80s, before the bottom fell outta it, geologist by trade moved into the federal government doing environmental cleanup stuff. Been good for him ever since.
