I have BFG KO's on my 97 Dodge dakota...second set Awsome tire....a bit loud though so the wife wouldn't let me put them on her Liberty.
had the SR-As on the LIberty stock and those tires were absolute trash. The Liberty is an automatic....after about 10k miles on the SR-A's i could smoke at least one tire from a stand still by just stomping on the gas...no break stand either...so imagine what it was like in the rain.
Recently put some Bridgestone Dueler HT's on the Liberty...and they are like night and day compared to the old Goodyears.
Much nicer ride IMO, and i cant peel out anymore with them

. They are pretty good in the snow...so far anyway.
But honestly i wouldnt buy tires based on there supposed Ice Traction..by its very nature ice is VERY slippery...Ever seen the video's of vehicles parked on an icy hill....and it just slides down the hill for no reason......so really no amount of traction is gonna help if your on ice...unless you use chains.
Good luck whatever you decide though.
