Once again my daughter's Girl Scout Troop is sending cases of Girl Scout Cookies to Iraq and Afganistan. Somehow I end up paying the shipping (just under $20 for each set of 24 boxes  ), but it's worth it from the letters we got last year. We made a lot of GI's very thankful that folks back home are thinking of them. The last letter was from a combat stress team that helps the troopers get through some of the hell they have seen. Very touching stuff.

Anyways, if you are interested in helping out on this, please send $3 per box for each box to:

Girl Scout Troop #175
3400 Pebble Creek Drive
Beavercreek, OH 45432

or PayPal to nsattler@bluemoose.net

Thanks

Ditto, I am down for 10 boxes for the cause plus a $5 toward shipping to help you out.

I already ordered some locally but our soldiers need some too!

Paypal sent!

BTW, HotRodOil.com would like to challenge all other vendors on this forum to buy 5-10 boxes for the troops.

HotRodOil.com will Paypal another $20 to help w/ shipping another case out if we can get a couple vendors to get in on this.

Please consider supporting our troops.
Thanks, John

Moose,
A personal thank you. Even though I'm not over there now, I now how great it is look at a box of Dosi-dos and then at your MRE... Not much of a decision which one you eat. Again thank you and to everyone else who is supporting us.

We have our first two units for 2008:

1. XVIII Airborne Corps ACE
2. Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Arabian Peninsula

Do you knoww of any units in harms way? We are looking for Iraq/Afgan theater units that could use this boost. The cookies show up tomorrow, and these two units will ship on Tuesday. If you know of a unit, I need a mailing address for a POC who will distribute the cookies within the unit. The POC needs to have orders to be in country until late April or May (sorry, had too many come back last year because the POC rotated out before the box got there).

Thanks for those that have sent a paypal. These two units are where your cookies are going!

I've got the address of the Naval Chaplin in Fallujah I've been sending goodies to. He distributes the stuff the the Marines in his sector.

Also, I know a young Marine that shipped over last week, but I won't have his address for a little while though...his mom and my wife are best firends.

P/M me if I can help. Thanks for what you're doing. It makes a big difference.
