Spring run at DBNF?

not yet. i was going to go this weekend but im going to pick up some springs so i cant make it. my local club goes all the time. there are so many good trail where i live its great!!!! im in the middle of harlan and telico and those are just the ones everyone knows about.

i need to know where to go and what time to be where. sorry if this is somewhere in the tread i just didnt see it. also whats this trail like? im up for anything i just want to make sure its worth the drive(will be to me just to meet some LOST members and wheel w/ another KJ) just dont want to any gravel road driving all day :lol:

Hey Austin go to the bottom of the page under LOST Livingston lots of great pics there from our last trip, Saturday is the main rote we take Sundays pics are of our top secret route :wink:

well, now not so fast tom... :lol:

the potential problem with this run is that its kind of recon. there has been a lot closures and some "fixing" of roads around the area. so, its entirely possible that those routes in the photos that we all know and love could be all smoothed out or completely closed. we have no way of knowing until we are there.

True Jon , but gives him some idea of what is in the area or what may be available... we hope. I am sure the road is not graded at least not all the way through but could be closed down before / after the cave I guess. Will be interesting for sure, take extra bail money!!

We're meeting at the truck stop/gas station (Exit 49, I-75, Kentucky), 9am.
I hope there's no more gravel than last time...we shall see.

For those running down 71 or 75 through Ohio Saturday AM:
We've met at 7am at the McDonalds in Florence, KY (I think exit 189A after 71/75 merge) for a quick bite and continued caravan down the road. Any taker's?

Is anyone driving down Friday? Myself, my buddy Kris and his dad were thinking about driving down on Friday afternoon and play around some then, stay the night and then wheel on Saturday too.

I will have my Liberty, and Kris and his dad are bringing their wranglers. Depending on what the trail we are planning on running on Saturday looks like, I may ride with Kris....I don't have any skids or sliders....yet. I didn't need the skids last time, but the sliders would have been nice! :shock:

Same rate, and the Days Inn has in room coffee maker, a 24 hr. Denny's and an Arby's on the same lot, not to mention it's a little closer to the exit.

I'm still not sure if I want to drive 6 hrs., plus expense for gas and lodging, only to maybe end up driving down a gravel road, or possibly end up on a closed road. Although I am getting cabin fever at this point.

We ate at that Arbys I think on Friday evening last trip down, would be conveinant to everything, roads/food/ in room coffee!!! Most Days Inns have free internet also, I mean what would LOST do with out us for 2 or 3 days, the whole site may go down :twisted:
