I have one and love it! It is not shallow by any means. Just the pic makes it look that way.

Do they mount to the factory rails or do you need crossbars?

here is a few pics of that rack on my 03 sport. also i think the cheapest place to get them is summit. surco rack on summit
edit: i just seen the price from the link u had and it looks like they are about the same price but i think summit has free shipping.(?)
also check out how this guy reinforced his. the rack is pleenty strong as is but this will help and looks really cool. http://www.planetisuzoo.com/articles.htm/98

i dont have my rack mounted w/ the mounts just the cross bars that come w/ it. i didnt want it to stick up and i didnt care to drill holes in my roof rails. its also supper easy to mount a high lift to this rack. i didnt buy the kit to do it but they do sell one. i used 2 1/2 bolts and 4 nuts to mount it and i wont budge.

When I was deciding on my rack I had it down to that one, the Coleman, or the Black Widow. I like that the Surco is 5" and the Black Widow is 4" tall as they can hold just as much stuff but to me seemed to cut down on wind resistance more. Whether or not that is actually a factor, I don't know for sure. I ended up going with the Black widow because it was the lowest profile and has a small slope in the front of it.

I just got my Surco bolted up and mounted 2 days ago. I think this rack is just what the Dr. ordered for my "lack of cargo space" issue.

PS. My Jeepin by Al's A-arms should be in on the 5th or 6th. If no one has done a detailed photo bio. of the install, I will. Just let me know.

Take a look at these racks. I'm going to special order one 60"x 42"x6" and make my own mounts for my rack rails. Plan on getting it black Rhino lined before the final install.
