Can someone chime in on this? i was always told most jeep libertys dont have TT, but the guy on this thread says they do and most need a friction modifier. Maybe its standard in ausie? or am i wrong here.

Most in North America do not have TT. Most overseas do.

Most KJ's in the US come with an open diff. Track-Loc is the Mopar clutch driven Limited Slip that comes with the offroad package option according to the Jeep Option listings I have for 05 models anyway. (i don't have all years) but i believe it is the same.. It is an option and not standard equipment.

The TT you are talking about above NEVER came in ANY Jeep. It is a Aftermarket gear driven LSD. The only way it would be in a Jeep is if someone buys one and installs it. TT is just short for Detroit True-Trac.

Sounds to me that this roll over was due to wheels turned to left and being hit by another vehicle? Where's the fishtailing part or did I miss something? Joe

IIRC ALL Renegades have it, and it's an option on Limiteds and Sports

The trash-lok is a option and not standard on any KJ.I've seen many renny's without the trash-lok,heck seen renny's without 4wd also, what a waste.

I bought my Limited with factory trac-loc option. Couldn't tell if it was working, although people in back of me said it was? I put in the powertrax locker and what a difference. Joe
