Does anybody have experience with Amsoil products? I gonna change my diff fluids soon and they sound like quality gear lubes.

any opinions??

i haven't used there gear oil yet but i have and do use there trany fluied and motor oil. i love it i have used it in my last two cars and have gotten 130,000 on one car and 178,000 miles on a nother. and i still have the 178,000 mile car and still runing great.

Royal Purple is also a quality product, but I want to try the Amsoil diff fluid.

Amsoil is a good product, but buying it is like Avon, or Tupperware, or Primerica :D Many of the dealers just brush off any competitor's product.

People get so zealous about it! It's like a cult!


"Mobil bad... Amsoil good.... Rotella bad... Amsoil good...."

Oh, and AFAIK it's not API rated, no matter what they try to sell me :?

I use Mobil synthetic engine oil in both my KJ's & never a problem,started using first oil chng. over a year now,no prob's,gonna try the syn.gear stuff when it comes time :)
