Sam, had a few similar issues with some of my friends trying to join. When I PM'ed the Admins, their answer was to ensure that your friend has his application filled out, preferably with relevant jeep info. They have a lot of spammers trying to join the site, and if their profiles not filled out it will get kicked to the side.

If it's been two weeks, it's been deleted.
Have him sign on again, and as daspes said, have him put some jeep related info. in there. We get at least 30 spam applications for every real application.

If you PM me his member name, I'll keep an eye out for it.
