What is the difference between the Hella 500 driving lights and the fog lights?

ones a driving light, ones a fog
Driving lights are designed to provide a longer distance light, some much farther than your high beams and can only be run off road, some are designed to run with your low beams like comes stock on many vehicles.
TRUE fog lights are mostly/ usually yellow and will shine below the fog lighting up the road better than normal headlights. I do always like to see pickups with fog lights mounted on the roll bars ???? :? :?

There is nothing wrong with asking a question. It's how we learn right?

I agree with Tom though. If you want some Fog lights, than you will need to find a way to mount them lower on the liberty below the headlights or at least pointing towards the first 3 feet of road in front of your bumper. They help a great deal to light up the white and yellow lines on those misty Michigan mornings that we usually get.

Ah, mounted to the front bumper tilted down would do the trick then (for Fogs)

For driving lights (like super high beams) you would want them to be pointed down the road. Don't point the lights too high up, because they will just light up the trees above you instead of the road.
