Ok, I've been reading threads on segr and mann provent but, i dunno where to get it. We just bought a 2005 libby , and I want to start with these mods to correct DC & Epa mistakes. Also just before pickin it up(we bought used from dealer with 25k) they called and said after fillin it up the glo plug light went on. I've gotten the VIP report and it stated that the libby got a plug module round 12k. They said it needs a plug, well i dunno, shouldn't they replace all plugs? O well i guess if they're gonna go it'll be in the 70k warr. It's had all the updates Including F-37(UGGGH)

I n one's opinion, what mods should be done to keep it tight and reliable, I love to modout, but my wife is gonna drive this, you get the picture.

Any feedback will be appreciated

Welcome.

Go to the SEGR get on it now list cause LOCO is ordering them soon...probably within a week so you have to get on it ASAP.

as for the mods, all that you listed are good with the addition of the lift pump.

the mann provent is around $250 i think, bought online. you can google it, i made a contraption that will work just as good for about $30.

There are a few threads on here about the lift pump, titled "it's 10pm where's your lift pump" and another that "it is 10:01pm * ".

some unplug the fuel heater on the filter head until the lift pump is added, the plug on the drivers side (check for leaks at the plug they melt sometimes).

The SEGR you have to solder together, UFO is doing it for a price, his thread is titled "SEGR kit Building any intrest" or something very close"

all of the threads mentioned are within the first 3 pages of posts i believe.

Happy modding

You can get the Mann Provent 200 for ~$130 online... just google it, there are multiple providers.

Check out http://www.republicsales.com/products/f ... rovent.php

They have them for $129.99, and if the claim is real on the front page, free shipping too.

Anyway, I hope that this helps!

Someone else mentioned that but said you have to be friends with the dealer - it's not intended to be a customer report - it's for the dealership.

(I remember air supply now - that's where I bought might - I had forgotten that someone had found a $130 version)

Thanks Guys Or Gals

I just picked it up tonight, and liking the little tractor more and more on my way home. I am so glad that this site is here, and that everybody has some info to give, I'm shure my CRD and I will be able to add somthin here soon

I went over it with a fine tooth comb and found the fuel heater leaking, and told them to replace or find another buyer other that that she ran fine, no 55MPH shudder, and i beat on it for awhile, lol he threw me the keys and said take it for a spin and I'll see ya when I see ya. So I put it through the ringer, hey it does nice line locks  .

As for the Vip report. I was very persistant , basically again told him I wanted it, or find another buyer. There's allways someone at a dealer you can make nice with to get what you need. Sometimes it takes the right guy at the right time, when you have the right case of beer to offer

Thanks Everyone
