Has anyone used the Dunlop Mud Rovers? I was looking at 265/70/17". They look pretty good, rated pretty good. Tire Rack has a bad snow rating but I don't think it will matter here in Florida! I was also looking at Firestone Destination M/T, Tire Rack top rated.

Sorry Man, I don't know of anyone that's tried these tries out. I'd be willing to try the Firestones though. :)

I used to Run Dunlops all the time, sold them out of my store even, ran as good as anything

only one problem
Do you know what a Dunlop sounds like when it goes flat running down the road? :? :?

It goes "lop, lop, lop, lop"

ok I know bad joke   was in the back room sniffing new tires too much
But they are a good well built tire! Correct on not the best for snow but what do you care?

The Mud Rover has long had a reputation as being a great tire for the money. If it is the same tread design, they are a little lacking in wet pavement handling. The large void areas and unsiped tread blocks do not leave a lot of rubber on pavement.
