Does anyone know where this is located? First, my auxiliary lights stopped working, then out of the blue my actual reverse lights quit working on a regular basis, but sometimes come on. I don't know if maybe my amateur wiring job on the aux. lights messed something up, but I wired them to the trailer wiring so I can't believe that is affecting the reverse lights. The aux. lights don't work at all. I'm guessing it has to be the reverse light switch (and a lousy job on my part of wiring the aux. lights  ). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

i'm pretty sure that the wiring harness and the tail light as a whole are connected somehow, b/c when you apply the brake, both the brake tail light and trailer (when trailer is being properly towed and hooked up via wires) tail lights light up.

i am still in the process up working on my aux. reverse lights, but i would say hook them straight to the battery, or some aux. power source, so you can flip them on with a switch whenever you want...

just my opinion, and the ( ) are to be funny b/c everytime there is a jeep ad with something off road or some equipment in the jeep, there is that caution statement on the bottom.

Your reverse light switch should be located on the transmission. It should be on the drivers side. I forget if it was a two or three wire. My OEM one failed and I had to replace mine. I ordered my new switch and since I had something to refer to I fiqured it out. Let me know if you want me take some pictures of the switch / location.
