I know I read about it somewhere on the site, but be darn'd if I can find it again... Can someone tell me what running Rubicon wheels will give me over stock wheels in width? With the 2.5 FrankenLift II lift, will they give me the clearance I need for 245X75R-16 tires? I have decided not to go with wheel spacers.
I'm making my "to do" list and just wanted the details ironed out! 8)

If you buy wheel spacers or rims with more backspacing, you will get more rubbing issues not less...

That lift alone will give you the clearance to run those tires. Might still have to pound the pinch weld but, that's easy to do.

'03-'06 Rubicon rims(MOAB's) are 16x8 rims with 5" BS,OEM rims(given 16's) are 16x7 with 5.5" BS.The MOAB rims will stick out 1" farther then the OEM rims. You'll be fine if you have the FrankinLift, will need to pound the pinchweld down in the rear of the front wheel wells though.

Moab rims with the MTR's will be fine with that lift, as everyone else stated just pound in the pinch weld & your good to go

You will need extended bumpstops for the rear too. Otherwise they will rub the fender flares.

With a 2-1/2" lift they rubi rims looks very nice on the libby's. I think they should have come from the factory like this.

I have minor rubbing on the pinch seem and had to trim very little off the front air dam, but you can't even tell I did it.

Oh I would like to add, I didn't change out the rear bumpstops and I have no rubbing in the rear. Its all up front where I do have extended bumpstops.
