That kinda sucks. Unless some other enterprising person decides to buy a big chunk of old coal mine and turn it into an off-road park, we're stuck with only Rausch Creek as an off-road destination in PA.

I also found this post on Paragon's forum. Don't know how true it is though.

Congratulations and good luck Kyle and Steph, I've been to the Badlands and it's a great park. I know it will only get better with your ownership and direction.
For the wheelers in Central Pa.and surrounding areas. There is a huge project in the works for Central Pa. The details are in the works right now and I'm expecting an announcement to be made sometime this spring.

Hey Dave, I might be there Saturday too. Haven't seen you in awhile. If I'm there, I'll be doing blues and maybe some blacks. Maybe we'll cross paths at some point.

I'll look for you David. You going with Chris or Jason? I've got a silver LJ now.

How come Joe never wants to come out? :?

Jason might be there, not sure yet. I'm going with Maryland Jeep Club. Is the LJ stock or modded? I'm not sure if I've wheeled with you since I got my LJ. In case you haven't seen it, it is dark blue with a grey hardtop (until it warms up) and a RE long arm with 35's.

Paragon Owners taking over Attica IN should be a very interesting mixture....
There are a lot and I mean a lot of stuff that can be done at Badlands - there is plenty of space to create more Trails - specially for 4WDs -
At one point I thought that it would be a perfect place for Camp Jeep and I'm not kidding - the only drawback would be the space needed for parking such a large number of Jeeps.
They have space for the tents and concert stage left to the entrance; they have space for the pre-runs meeting on the lower parking lots and upper parking lot and they have plenty of room for running 15 trails from easy to hard core rock crawling - best for mid range trails.
Hotels in town are nonexistant - so a drive to LaFayette or Terre Hautte would be the ticket for everything from Hotels to restaurants. both 45 mins away.
I might be dreaming but it could happen - I'm probably dreaming...........

Mines got 4.5" RE and 33's. I want to upgrade to the LA and 35's soon.

I've seen yours way back when you first got it. Remember, we went to RC with Chris and DoctorD from ROF and maybe some others from here when MALOST actually wheeled their junk? You busted a tie rod trying to pose on that stump? Chris got us lost and almost had us going into rock creek? Good times, good times.

Yeah how could I forget the broken tie rod. That was actually the only time I wheeled it stock. I didn't want to break anything like that again. Needless to say though, the last time I went to Rausch, I bent my heavy duty tie rod. Oh well guess you gotta pay to play.
