I don't even have my libby in possession yet and want to mod it already!

Anyhow, I was wanting to take these 4" truck LED lights:

$21 bucks.

Then I'll take the dremel to the libby's tails and toss them in.

I know I'll have to wire some resistors in b/c of the voltage deal with LEDs, any had any experience with that?

This is what gave me the idea...

I really need to check the size, and 'back' size of the tail light to see if I can make this work.

If it'll work it'll def be cheaper than those damned ebay LEDs.

I need to price a set of stock tails to test it out on. I'll try and get on it soon though!

http://autolumination.com

http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm for load equalizers

It is what I am using in all locations. Around $250 for all the bulbs on the outside. Works great and car see me better.

My issue is that I need to get a digital flasher as the load is now minimal and the flasher thinks the lights are burned out. Where is the flasher unit? All I hear is from the 4 way flasher a relay clicking. IS that where it is as the book does not say anything.

Make sure you order the correct color for you lights, if you order white for the stop lamps they will not work as well as the red leds. I tried and made that mistake already.
