locker party?

I'm interested in getting my Aussie in the D30 this weekend. It looks like Sunday will be in the 40's, so anyone interested in coming over to work on it in my driveway? (or if someone has a garage...) Anyways, I'd love to have a second set of hands, and I'm even more interested i advice on how to do this. This will be the most complicated thing I've done to a Jeep.

Darn it, moose! meh_kick and ThunderbirdJunkie are coming over to my place (one car garage) on Sunday to install a front hitch on Eric's KJ. I would love to help just for the know-how and hands on experience. How long do you think it would take to get that bad boy in?

I will extend a invite for you to come to Loveland and join our front hitch install party and continue with your pumpkin upgrade. I would be glad to help...though I have never put one in...never to late to learn. Up to you...

Sorry, Moose...starting this weekend I work noon-midnight Sat & Sun......... sucks to be me........

I have handed wrenches on pro stock & top fuel cars........they never let me do anything, but I am truly a wrench-handin' ( as in "hand me that wrench") MoFo of epic proportions.

What time are you guys starting? And any guess at how long the front hitch takes?

Personally, I like to start early, say 8 or 9.

The hitch took me over 2 hours by myself. Working together and with the right tools we can finish it up in about an hour.

Me, too. We need to figure out who goes first. I guess we can go by who gets to my place first :lol:

Looks like it may be slightly chilly on Sunday...@31 degrees. I only have a small space heater in the garage to take the chill off overnight...will not keep us too warm...especially with the door open. Anyone else interested in hanging out is welcome.

We can use my folk's place out in Ross if it looks like this "winter storm" gets bad. We'd have room for both jeeps inside. With a heater and halogen lights it warms up comfortably. It's up to you all.

I guess this would be more up to moose and ThunderbirdJunkie. It does not matter to me either way...I was just offering the use of my small cold garage not realizing that the weather would change to below freezing with 4-6" of snow 2 days before :cry:

Wonder how the waste water area will be after Fridays snow??
