Hey guys,

does anyone know what size wheels I need to fit my BFG 31" AT onto my KJ. I currently have the tires mounted on stock TJ rimms and I have 4
1.5" wheel spacer on the way hoping that they will help.

Thanks

Joe Coastie

31" what size of rim are they? You can fit 31" on the KJ with a 2.5" lift. 245/75/16 or 265/70/16 and a 32" 265/75/16 with some trimming.

Your stock rims will suffice. The spacers may give you problems with the rear flares when stuffing. Give it a try and see what happens off-road.

sorry I didn't clarify, when I had them mount and balanced at national tire
and battery they tried to install them and said that the would not fit on because of the lower
control arm of something. The stock TJ rimms are 15" rimms

The problem with a 15" wheel is the backspacking on the tj wheels it too much, and thus the wheel wont clear the brakes.

But the wheel spacer should solve that, if it's spaced out enough ( I think it would be). Let us know how it bolts on!

Finally got them to fit with the spacers and it looks awsome with the exception of the amount of trimming that I had to do to get the tires to turn fully
