I'm lifted with the Franky, pinch weld pounded & NO plastic inner fenders in the front. What size of rim (back space etc.) and tires do I want to get. The tire height I want is as close to, but not under, 31". When these tires wear out I'll get 32's and 4:10's. I would like to go with Soft 8's or the Unique Series 297 (same as soft 8's, but cheaper).

Go with some black steelies that are 16x7 with 4" or 4.5" of BS.Then you can mount 265/70's,which are 31".If you want really aggresive tires some companies do make 31x9.50x16 tires.

I was hoping you would answer soon! Thanks. But, did you mean 265/75/16"? Tire Rack doesn't show MTR's in 265/70/16".

No the MT/R is not made in a 265/70,others are.The 265/75 MT/R is 31.5" tall when mounted on a 7" rim.A Unique Steel seris 297 16x7 rim with a 265/75 MT/R is 91lbs,to let you know.

If you want just a tad higher try the Trxus MT's in the 265/75 size, they are 31.9" tall mounted on a 7" rim.The Trxus are cheaper and just as good as the MT/R's,better in mud but a little worse in the rocks(big rocks, car sized ones).

I want to stay close to 31" until I can get the gears. I was looking at the Distination M/T, Dunlop Radial Rover R/T and the MTR's. That was when I was going to go 31.9". I'll have to look at the Trux though.
