Anybody painted their tow hooks and if so got any pictures? I am going yellow on mine (just the hook portion) to someday match the AEV Bridger wheels and OME Shocks and Struts that I plan to throw on my dark khaki 05 Limited. I will post pics for feedback when painted and mounted.

I just know you can get some super heavy duty epoxy paint in Safety, I'm not sure of the other colors but the epoxy will stand up to road sand being kicked up and other abuse. 8)

Painted mine a while back, jus scuffed with some sandpaper, cleaned em up and sprayed em. No close up pics, but if you look at the link in my sig, you can still see them. They've held up for about 6 months now, no chips or flaking.

I just sand them a bit and used Rustoleum flat black.

I used about five light coats of Rust-Oleum hammered black on mine after scuffing them with some 120 grit (I think; it was almost a year ago). They've held up extremely well. I'm very pleased.
