I want to order a tire cover for Little Mack but the tires I put on it are 31 inches and the spare (stock) is 29 inches. Should I order one for the stock spare and assume that I can limp it in to a tire shop on a smaller tire if I get a flat? Or should I order a 30 inch tire cover and use it on my current spare and then use a worn 31 inch tire as the spare when I change tires in another 40,000 miles? I'm assuming a worn 31 inch tire would be about the same diameter as a new 30 inch tire but how the heck would I know? Oh my...

I would get a 31" tire for a spare and get the tire cover to fit it.

Just get the one for a 31" it will fit the smaller stock tire.

I bought one for the stock tire off ebay, it ended up fitting on the 245/75R15 (30.6") I added later, just a little tight.

I don't have a tire cover anymore, it froze on the first winter, destroyed it trying to get it off. Decided it looked better without a tire cover anyway.

I would leave the spare exposed if it is the same as your other 4. Looks tougher in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I could keep the OEM tire and slap a 30 inch cover on it and then if I go with the 31 inch spare later, hopefully it would fit (tight). Here's the one I liked best http://www.allthingsjeep.com/lif25107.html

Some lady down the road has that one but it's still cool. I'd like to get one with a Bull Terrier but the one in the link I posted looks like a 2 door Little Mack with the lift. Besides, Life Is Good. 8)
