Ouch..  Was she easy to pull out and did you get much water inside? Looks like you had a good day besides the "swimming".

Yeah it was easy to get out, it may have even gotten out by itself in reverse but I didn't try

Water wasn't a big deal, but it was enough to leave a small puddle on the floor. I am uploading a short video of the recovery now...

Make sure you check the rear diff oil real good. That breather is on that side somewhere.

Best to check them all real good but the others are fairly high.

Looks like a great day offroad! :)

Yeah all of my breathers are extended... my rear dif is up above the gas filler tube, but I'll check it anyways.

That really doesn't mean nothing if you where sitting in standing water for sometime, water will always find a way in after a while.

Might want to really run the snot out of it for at least a hour or more to get the exhaust really hot to finish boiling out all that water that probally made it's way to the cats if you shut the engine off in that deep water. Also through some "Heat" gas line anti-freeze in the gas tank since water might have gotten in there also.

Wow, I guess I don't feel as bad about my current situation after seeing this, that's much deeper than what I'm in. On the other hand, my KJ is still stuck.

I'll throw some Heat in there, but I never turned the truck off.. I was in and out in a total of about 5 minutes...

Meanwhile as a punishment to myself, I will be writing "My KJ is not a boat." on the chalkboard 100 times.

Good one!

I wouldn't worry to much, just like others said check all your fluids(changing them real cheap insurance).I've been in deeper water but never stopped and came through just fine then did it 3 more times like a idiot, still was fine after all of that.

Well, hopefully your g/f/wife/whatever wasn't sitting there saying "I thought you said you could go through thiiiiiiiiiiiiis!?" That's worse than getting stuck.

My girlfriend is usually the one egging me on, then is the one that laughs at me if I do get stuck.

Hey, looks like fun to me! Of course, I'm usually in a POS '79 Cherokee that the tires & rims are = to the value of the rest of the rig...
