hey guys.. I know there's tons of talk about the rancho shocks on here, but there's one thing I haven't seen.. I know the RSX17004 are made for the durango's.. My question is, are the Rancho RSX 17505 struts made for another truck or are they KJ specific???

They come up for the KJ with no lift when you check the application listing on websites. The Durango listing was discovered as working on a kj with a lift. The stock listing is another number, IIRC.

My question is that, as the 17505 is for no lift, has anyone tried any other aftermarket strut? I know there will not be a strut for a lift, but maybe a different brand is as good as the 17505. Aren't the basically a Monroe anymore?

Lilred had tried a longer shock for the front for a mini van and it was working well, but sadly we will never know the part number now.

What does JBA 4" lift kit use for the front shocks? And his upcoming 6" kit?
