Well, you young pups have a ways to go... :D

I am 70, still Jeepin', bought my first CJ in 1955 (53 years of Jeeps now!), owned at least one Jeep continually ever since. Seem to have quite a few in the yard right now, they followed me home. The Jeeps lsited below are my current lot; the KJ (love it when I can get it away from my wife, also 70) and the LJ are daily drivers. The rest are work vehicles, not trailer queens, and the Cherokee is the yard mule, bless her.

[Edit 09 APR 2008]: Mea Culpa: I just read the sticky from admin about bashing and want to apologize if my comments previously above were considered to be in that category. I have deleted them but can't do so to the quotes below in others' posts.

The older I get, the less I know, and I can't remember much; at least I'm still in a Jeep!

I have no understanding for anyone who doesn't own a Jeep. It seems 99% of SUV owners today don't really understand what a 4WD vehicle really is, what it can do, how to get it to do it, or why in the first place. LostKJ members excluded. No offense intended; I'm old and cranky. :-)r

Old and cranky.... I feel the same way some days at 53!  I never bought my first Jeep until 1975 so you had a twenty year jump on me!

Tom

 So I should assume that since I am 25 and cranky that it will only get worse?

Mallow, most of them SUV'ers are looking for the "push button to climb hill".

I am only 42. But does it help that I already retired from a civil service job? 20 & out, that's me!
