Just got an email from Bill @ Aussie and he said they are hoping by the end of June, but they have given up on forecasting when they will be available. His exact words:
"Michael,

We have given up forecasting when this model will be in our USA inventory. We know it will be this year and we are hoping before the end of June, but until we actually have them setting at the forwarder in Australia we are not going to provide any forecast."

Bummer, looks like it might not be until mid summer or later if things slow down for them. :(

Got an email from Bill today from Aussie Lockers and here is what he had to say:

"We are expecting some units to ship to us the very end of June. We will
have to do a couple of test installs for our techs to do any
supplements, if required, and for them to be familiar with the
installation before we add it to our web site. Because of the work that
still has to be done, thankfully in the USA, we are not current
estimating an exact date when we will put this model on our web site.
This Aussie Locker will be for 29 spline, open carrier, Chrysler 8.25
differentials only.

Thank you."

So we are shooting for end of summer it sounds like. I am having a harder and harder time waiting for this.

Thanks :D

I got it for $387 shipped, it was the cheapest anywhere, and I got it installed for $260 w/ tax, while driving its hardly noticable just like TJKJ2002 said and the steering wheel does turn back to center a little faster

I went and tested it off road and I had one front wheel on ground and it just went right up a steep muddy dirt pile, it is moeny well spent!!

ya I went with the front first b/c it was the cheapest, and I havent heard of anyone breaking their front diff w/ the DTT in it so its a little added protection for me

Yeah, I need one up front more than I want one. I'll need to save more $$ if I want one up front though. I have a few other kj projects under wraps that will come before the front TT too. We'll see.

Would installing a DTT up front make the front diff any stronger than stock alone?
Would it be compatible with the factory ESP?

Thank you.

The belief is that the way the DTT works would help to prevent excessive wheel spin when a tire is in the air, and would then lessen the chance of the case splitting when the freewheeling tire grabs when it comes back down. An open diff. sends power to the axle with the least resistence, while a DTT sends it to the axle with the most resisitence, which would be the one still on the ground. The sudden grabbing of traction is thought tho be the #1 cause of case failure, and doing as much as possible to eliminate the cause is the idea behind the DTT in front.

As the DTT does not work like a typical LSD, and does not usually spin both tires on loose surfaces, those not in the know think that they are not working.

I do not know the ESP answer.
