I am looking to upgrade from my OTT lift (in the front anyway) to a full coil up front.

I bought a set of Skyjacker 2.5in coils a few months back and want to mate them up with a good strut. Can I use Rancho or better yet OME with them?

ok cool.

I was thinking about buying the Clevis from the KK, rumor has it they are in inch taller.

If they aren't too much money and I can't get a set fairly easly I am going to see for sure if they are in fact taller.

so I figured 2.5 from the coil and another inch from the clevis. well see.

Thank guys.

oh does anyone have a part number of the Ranchos or OMEs that would work? Thanks.

just use some conduit nuts and save yourself the money, you wont be able to buy the KK clevis for cheaper then $6, a 2" conduit is around $.99

The conduit will only give you half and inch where the clevis could possibly give an inch or more.

just called, they are 61 a piece from jeep.

Ive also heard those clevis's come with a 'destroy my suspension' package. Pretty neat deal for only $61.

Stick with a quality suspension lift and dont worry about using a longer clevis to get lift.

What you heard and what you know are two different things. You should be worried if I am going to take your advice.

Also, thanks TOmmudd

no worries sport

A longer clevis will ruin the struts and upper control arms given that the suspension doesnt have Al's upper arms or extended bumpstops(which you do). Just trying to be a good sport.

Maybe someone later on will come upon this info that doesnt have al arms or extended bumpstops and find it useful. :)
