i'm not sure how i have just a frankenlift in the front and my CV angles are worse than yours! and your jeep is DEF. higher than mine. humm.. i had my CV's machine on the inside instead of taking 3/8s off the face because with the axle dropping in the CV it would still rub.
i got the faces towards the outside of the CV machine in.. so they went from about a 70 degree angle where the axle would hit the peak of them.. to a 20 degree angle... plus it keeps the strength of the outside CV since i didnt lose any length. a local machinist charged me $3 to do it.. (but i have him 20.. he's a great person.. older guy who does machine work in his spare time)
so.. new axle (with nice boots instead of hard plastic mopar ones)- $100
Mechanic to take it apart- $10
Machine CV cup- $20 (actaully 3 but i thought that was too cheap for his time)
Mechanic to re-assemble- $10
Total for cut CV good for a real big left

- $140
Wheeling - priceless!
