Moabs and BFG's mounted.

Got some new tires today. 245/75/16 BFG AT/KO's.

Need to do a little pinchweld mod, I'm getting rub at full lock mainly on pass side.

Thanks, I like that 6" lift ya got there Joe.

Once I fitted mine with the 3" lift, I found I had a weird bump steer condition. Is that normal after lifting?

I hope you had it aligned, I know mine had some until it was aligned then it was gone, over 60,000 and has never done it anymore

yea lol i finished my lift on thurs, drove it friday, and am getting it aligned on monday. the bump steer is defintiely there, not TERRIBLE, but its definitely noticable, going around turns it feels funny too when u go to striaghten the wheel back out

those moabs look great!! and the tires too! i love those tires. i really wanna get those wheels like that that stick out just a little bit more than stock, looks perfect

If you have the factory upper control arm you might want to put Jeepin' By Al's upper control arms for lifted liberties on in the future. The Gen. 5's took my bump steer away. Thanks for the comment on the Lift!

I installed the Frankenlift II, Al's gen 4 arms, had alot of bump steer, took it in and had it aligned and still have some bump steer. Should I take it back and have the alignment rechecked?

Since I installed the lift, I haven't got it aligned yet. I will do it this week now that I got ny new tires.

Now the Liberty feels like a jeep is suppose to. :lol:

Yea man tell me about. My lift is about 2 months old now and man it still rides great.

The lift soaks up the big bumps better, but on little stuff it can be a bit harsh. I have noticed a great improvement with the ride over all.

Here's my alignment specs. The tow was in an inch between the both front wheels. 1 wheels was .41 and the other was .58 and after aligment the truck is driving like it should, just higher.

With out doing the control arms they can't get the aligment just right, close but not altogether correct. My tires are wearing surprisingly well for the aligment not being perfect, but I rotate them often.

Also after a couple of weeks the little bumps get less harsh. The lift needs a bit of time to settle in.

What do you mean by "doing the control arms", do you mean replacing the stock ones with Al's A-arms? The aligment is within spec, so it can't be that far out.
I have a 6 month time frame to take it back and have the aligment checked for free. With the roads I have here, I will need that option for sure. :shock:

That alignment is better than the one on my KJ.

He's got a LOT less camber than I do, too
