Looks good. I am not a big fan of green but I do like the color of those skids! I think the only color that really works with a silver Libby is black though...................oh well guess I am just going to be blah............

I was thinking about doing something like that but in John Deere Green or Cat Yellow, seeing as how I worked for one and currently work for the other.
Looks sweet!

I like the color with your jeep!
How did you prime them or did you, and what paint did you use?

The skids turned out great( not my choice of color though) what kind of skids are they?

I was thinking the skids should match your shock/strut color. My struts are yellow. Hmmmm yellow skids under a red KJ that would look awesome.

Not really to much hard work involved. The paint I used was Image and it just says to ruff up the factory finish and then spray 3 coats with 10 mins between each coat. If it gets scuffed up which it will  then I can just recoat them. I think it turned out great and soon I will have my rear tank skid painted as well.

Whoaa, pretty psychadellic green you used there, came out good. i want to do mine burnt orange or red now.

I cleaned my engine skid plate a couple hours ago, it left a big mud pit at the bottom of my driveway, much like the pile you have in your picture.

That does look great. Last oil change I painted my engine skid red. When I get some time I'm going to do the SS1 and the rest of the skids the same red. The shackle on my tow receiver is already red....not looking forward to taking the receiver and the gas tank skid off, but it likely needs cleaning out anyhow. Gotta love Jeep projects... :D
