Has anyone bought from there??/ or know a better price and place to get complete front axels?????

Cmohr, you thinking of getting a spare set? If so, ask for a price to get 2 sets sent out (one set for me), we could save on the freight & I can get them from you when we drive up to QLD.

UPDATE to my problem

Jeep found that my front diff is all (F-BOMB) and needs to be replaced. The front drive shaft they put in last week was a defect and it looks like when the shaft broke again it took out the front diffs. The Driveers side axel they said too was affected by this.

The parts manager did not say how much they were going to cover but he did say that they ordered all the parts this morning and we will talk first thing in the morning.

SHOULD I BE WORRIED and get a box of condoms ready? Or does this sound like they are going to accept that they (F-BOMB) up and going to cover the damages?

Well a new front diff is about $1400,and a dealer CV is about $1000,better bring plenty of lube.

That sux Dawg, it sounds like the new drive shaft had a part to play in the damage to your diff. If it was faulty as suggested you shouldn't have to worry. Me thinks you shouldn't need the condoms, but it's always good to have protection

WOW.
At that point I should just trade in the KJ and buy something new. I owe nothing on it. But hate to trade it in and hate to spend 3g's to freaking fix it.
Will not know until tomorrow morning when they call me back with a final answer

Protection and I stoped at the local walmart and picked up a 5 gallon bucket of K-Y to ease the pain

The CV's from a dealer are brand new units that are very pricy, but they are brand new.The CV's you buy from parts stores(online to) are "rebuit" CV shafts,no way can they "build" new CV's for $60-$150 since the CV cups are hardened steel, they take apart bad ones and inspect the internal parts, replace anything if bad(most likely no replacing of stuff),clean them up and put them together with new grease and boots. Then they paint them to give that "new" look.JE Reel makes HD rebuilt version for the KJ with HD cages and better boots then found anywhere else but the cost a little more. And almost all of those places have a "core charge",means you need to pay more up front until you return your bad ones so they can rebuild them for the next guy.

Are you talking about JE Reel Driveline Specialists?

Yahoo the KJ is back on its wheels again.
This Dealer did a premo job and really worked with me. I should have NEVER brought it to the other place.
Any of you NY guys, avoid Ralley Dodge/Jeep in Monroe for repairs out of warranty. You will Need K-Y!

I went to Newburgh Park Jeep and they really took care of me. I should have gone there in the first place. After all they did the first repair. They seem to be a lift friendly place too.
But I was closer to Ralley when it began to break.

Hats off the you Newburgh Park Jeep guys.

Not too sure if they will ever get to see this posting but If you guys are ever in the area and need something, Go to their service DEPT and say JeepZilla sent ya.

It was the front AXEL this time.
Now the KJ rides again and it rides NICE no more freaky sounds.

And I noticed that they put on a few new washers on my sway bar connections and some new bolts and nuts for the suspention to the knuckle and other odd and ends. That was simple stuff and cheap but they did it when they did not have to.
hese guys were really good to me.
I ave had problems with other dealers and so have you guys. But there is always a good dealer out there in between the bad ones.
I seem to have found the good one.

Exactly. . . I know where the hobby shop is on my base and they know me well. lol you have access to alot of knowledge and know how on these sites, and there is plenty of literature to get most jobs done. . . like when i broke my front drive shaft the dealer wanted close to $800 to fix and replace it. i got it done for alot less doing it myself. . .
