OME 2" lift seems to have the most fans as far as ride comfort.

I just ordered my Medium-Duty OME lift kit this weekend...can't wait til it gets here! Also throwing on Moog LBJs, extended bumpstops and the OME trim packer(front spacer/rear iso) Btw I hear the MD is less rigid than the HD...I'll let you know how the ride is!! 8)

Skyjacker is notoriously soft. REALLY SOFT! Never ridden in one, but all the research I did before I bought my lift showed that the Skyjacker, while still a good shock, is like caddy soft. But if that is what you are looking for, then I would do it. Since you aren't going to wheel it, you most likely would want the Skyjacker anyway. Let us know if you get the skyjacker and how it is. :)

Also: just saw Skyjacker is having a rebate on their shocks right now. Might help out. Save $35 on a set of shocks.

X2 on the research showing the skyjacker to be really soft. If you are not going to use your Jeep as a Jeep, then don't bother buying the frankenlift, IMHO. If you really just want some posing, save yourself the most money and look into Daystar. It's a product with a decent rep. for the money.

Be careful on tire selection. Make sure you get a P-series tire & not an LT. Your tire choice can make or break a soft ride. You need a car tire in a bigger size to get what you are apparently after.

Make sure to post photos when done. You are getting what I want (I think) and it would be nice to see it installed. thanks

u can bet there will be plenty-o-pics post install

Well this sucks..I just got off the phone with ok4wd and they had the kit drop-shipped from ARB all the way out in washington and they where out of the rear shocks so its on back order and probably wont ship til the end of next week. bummer.

Don't worry it will be well worth the wait, OK4wd does a great job and you'll be pleased no doubt. The MD's ride great!!

Had to wait two weeks to get my Frankenlift with my tires sitting in my garage. I feel your pain. But like you said, totally worth it once your lift gets there, you finish the install and stand back and soak it in. :D
