Shop the web and you can do an OME/Rancho lift for around $500
and it is by far the best way to go
I got in when Rustys had the OME springs for $100 a pair and the shocks for $60 a pair
got the Rancho struts for $160 a pair
I do not care for the rustys front springs they are just to weak the only other lifted KJ in the area has the full rustys coil lift and it looked like a drag car the last time I saw it
He lost about 3/4" of lift up front
His KJ has the Rustys lift and 30 X 9.5 R15 BFG MT's on black steelies
MY wife has the OME lift and 245/75 MTR's on OE wheels and seems to be 2" taller
just parked side by side his looks almost stock
I have Rusty's front springs on my KJ, and it sits REALLY high out back. Front isn't much higher than a stocker

That would be the spring sag that we OME lovers or Rustys Haters speak of
The way I see it is yes the Rustys lift is what $50 cheeper maybe $75 cheeper but it is just poor quality
The springs are the same rate as stock which sag and the rear shocks are not made for a KJ
to me this is not a "good deal" but rather cheep and if you want a cheep lift then buy a spacer lift either way in the end you will pay more than if you did it right the first time
I also know that there are 50 people who will say that their Rustys lift is doing fine and has caused them no issues
well then I can only see 1 of 2 things either they are blinded by denial or they are simply ok with lesser quality
Like all things in life you get what you pay for ,save a few bucks buying something cheep it will cost you in the long run
nolakj can tell you all about it ,his Rustys spring lift has cost him 1.5X or more than my OME lift
shocks had to be replaced ,60$ extra bad sag so clevis lift +$100 for an alignment in less than a year of his first one after the lift bought Al's UCA's and now does not really need them due to spring sag ,had an issue with the front strut plate busting ,not really due to the lift but cheep install so it had to be redone
we have had NO issues with the OME/Rancho stuff after about 1.5 years and the best part is that it falls into Chryslers guide lines for suspension lifts because it is listed as only being 1.75" and they state nothing over 2"
