thanks for all the info, but one more question, how do i do a cleavis lift? and will that even out the stock ride hieght?

A Clevis lift is a cheap (i.e. under 10 bucks) lift done by stacking conduit nuts (2" IIRC) between the bottom of the strut and the clevis fork. You can find the conduit nuts in the electrical hardwares section of your local HD/Ace/Lowes. 4 is he max I think you can go. 2-3 should even you out, depending on your springs.

Rusty's lift gives 2.5" and I have had mine on since Jan 05. No issues with mine. Could you put on an aftermarket steel front bumper with it? Most likely not w/o it definitely sagging. The Frankenlift gives more than 2.5" of lift so in truth, it is not in the same class as the Rusty's. It is the cadillac of lifts, for now.
