have you rolled the fender in any? There is not much to work with there but I cut as much plastic as I could out of the way then "massaged " the fender area a little for some more room. Like I said not too much you can do but every little bit helps!

Mike, if you need the Daystar bump stops that cool, just remember me if you decide you don't at a later date. Check it out and let me know in a couple of days what you decide. I'd hate to see you get rid of them and then decide you need them.

Mike, I found I needed at least 40mm of bumpstop in the rear to clear everything with the 31/10.5/15's, Yes you lose some articulation, but, thats why I also had some custom rear coils made, that eliminated the need for extra coil packers, and to get awesome articulaion I put in some extra exrta log travel OME shockies (650mm extented) the rear looks loke it about to fall out with em :P

Have a look at my tread http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=30211

also heres a vid of it on a travel ramp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0yycbMMI7o

With the KJ we are starting out quiet low, so to get things really working you have to play a lot..

I already have 50mm of bumpstop in the rear and I get rub. I have seen your thread before. Awesome kj. Not sure I wanna "spring" for new rear springs just yet.

For 265/75/16's you'll want a 3" rear bump stop in order to stuff.
Staying with 7" rims also helps.

But doesn't 3" stops pretty much eliminate all the articulation?

No,I have 3" bumpstops on the rear of my KJ,but you need longer rear shocks to gain better droop to make up for limiting the upward travel, the OME N132L's or Rancho 17004's will help with that,I have the Rancho 17004's.

I see. I bought the Frankie Prem. II and on All J's site, it says that kit comes with OME long travel rear shocks. Are these the OME 132Ls? If not then what do I have?
You have any pics of the 3" bumpstops Troy?

If you got the OME long travel then yes you should have the OME N132L's.

My bumpstops came with my SkyJacker lift, also my lift came with extended front bumpstops also.

Installed the additional hockey puck today, but didn't have a chance to go test them out. Hope it works. I am still waiting on my extra rear isolators as well.

TJKJ, in the pics, are your rear sway bars disconnected?

Yes my rear swaybar is gone,it has been for a very long time since it does not do anything anyway.

They are great. I just got back from doing some more trails, followed my brother in his cj8. The tires are fantastic.

I just received and installed the extra rear isolators. I measured and the rear is now 1/4" lower than the front instead of the full inch or so before. So I should gain some more clearance for when those rear MTs are articulating. 8)

ok I need to know where to get some isolators or hockey pucks and bump stops. I just have the OEM bump stops up front. I am sagging a tad in the front, so I guess all I can do is a clevis? and need to figure out what to do for the rear. I was told to measure from the center of the wheel to the flare which is 20" and some change on the front. and 21" and some change on the rear. Ive been PM ing a few people and they never answer or reply back......
