I'm not too sure if I'll be getting the gen 5 A A-arms or the 4.5's. I ordered through AllJ's and they only had one type listed, but I believe JBA is currently producing and shipping the 4.5's. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what shows up this Friday... I sure hope it's this friday, so I can install it over the weekend, although I don't have the libby insured right now. I tend to do way more highway driving throughout the summer and really don't want to chew off my BFG M/T's

Shoot. As expected, my order has been rescheduled for the 26th. I'm having it shipped to a business, but the business isn't open on monday's, so it looks as though I'll be getting my lift on tuesday the 27th at the earliest.

Man it really sux when you know you are waiting for something and you get that little notice, sorry but delay 1 day.

I hate when things like that happen. It is worse when you wait until that day when the box is due and the time just goes by and next thing you know, it wont get there untill tomorrow!

Dam that sux

I just looked up the UPS tracking number that I was given and it has changed again! Looks as though the order is on time and *should* be delivered on the original arrival date of the 23rd. I think they may be playing a cruel joke on me and toying with my emotions!

Just get it to me already UPS! I'm tired of not having fancypants!

So I guess it's a bit of a draw then huh? :). Although I didn't get my complete order. I haven't recived my Al's Upper A-arms or the spacer lift from my brothers Cherokee. I guess I can install the rear springs and shocks while I wait for my UAA's.

It's a draw! Can you tell I've got nothing better to do? I'm out of school for the summer and keeping my 5yr old son. Take lots of before and after pics!

Yea, same here. I'm just writing my thesis and really need to take a break once and a while :). Figure I'll bloody my knuckles and get out my frustrations on the lift :D

Sweet! My A-arms just showed up! Gonna be able to install it this weekend after all... well that is unless I run into some problems. Too bad there's no one close to have a lift party. Gonna have to wrangle my brother into this and see how things go 8)

easy to do, of all the vehicles I have done I would rate this one of the easiest , just take your time and use some common sense (if you have any)

  Funny you should say that as I've noticed that most of the time sense isn't very common among our species . By the looks of it, the lift isn't too bad. I like how it comes pre-built really making it a re+re. Just hope the bolts aren't seized on although working on my 03 should be fairly different experience than it was when I would work on my '86 samurai  Talk about a knuckle-buster!

Well, the lift is in! I still have a few things to take care of, but it's in! I would just like to take this time and point out the fact that NO ONE TOLD ME I WOULD NEED BIGGER TIRES AFTER THE LIFT! I spent just under $900 for the 235's now they look small on the jeep after the lift! I'm going to have to wear these out fast so I can get some 245's :D. Anyway, I have the before and after pics
I used to have to step up a little to get into the jeep, not I have to give a little hop  I can't wait until I can get it back on the road and break it in.

Before the lift I measured - 14 1/4" to the bottom of the pinch weld
Before the lift I measured - 33" to the bottom of the front fender flair

After the lift I measured - 16 1/4" to the bottom of the pinch weld
After the lift I measured - 35" to the bottom of the fender flair.

Ok, yea, I need a better before pic . I have some but they are on my g/f camera and will get them up as soon as I can.

Putting on a Frankenlift is such a big change that it melts snow! I wish I'd known that earlier!
That's looking great for sure, congrats.

I don't think he really wanted us to see a before pic.

Did you by chance have any Before measurements? I need a stocker to make some comparisons too.
